Job Title: Data Warehouse Analyst
Department: Technology

Job Description:
The Data Warehouse Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day support and maintenance of finance applications, databases and reports for the Napster Finance team. This position reports into finance management.
Key assignments and responsibilities:
- Maintain existing reporting databases in SQL Server 2000 for revenue, royalties and business metric reporting.
- Handle all requests from music labels and publishers for updates or changes to their royalty reporting formats.
- Provide support for Napster's ERP, HR and payroll applications.
- Interact with 3rd party software vendors for product upgrades, general support, patches and customizations.
- Research and investigate data discrepancies and provide data validation reports and understand system processes.
- Perform SOX compliance documentation and tasks.
Technical (Must have):
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and OLAP concepts
- Extensive experience with SQL Server 2000 (TSQl and DTS programming, 2000 Analysis services)

Job Title: Mobile QA Ops and Support Engineer
Department: Technology

Position Summary:
The Mobile QA Ops and support Engineer will engage in validating the overall market readiness of our device applications. This includes the development and execution of manual and automated test cases, creating tickets and interfacing with internal teams and external partners to assist with the resolution of any issues. Work on exciting and new devices. Test cool applications on handsets and be a part of the latest in mobile technologies. This job is not limited to testing handsets, but also involves understanding how the application serves work.
Responsibilities:
- Developing mobile device and application test cases and logging them in Napster's tracking system.
- Work closely and provide support to external QA departments of partner companies
- Work closely with the mobile team, UI and Interaction Designers and Software Developers
- Assisting the engineering team in the resolution of these issues
- Work with the team to continuously develop new test procedures and process improvements
- Perform system testing, black box functional testing, UI testing, stress, load and white box testing
- Being creative in optimizing the manual test cases so they can be done faster (smarter sequencing of test cases)
Requirements:
- Familiarity of wireless phone technologies and mobile devices is required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
- Must be comfortable and proficient with server side application concepts Understanding of Java technologies is a plus
- Good technical, analytical and trouble shooting skills

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Title: Database Developer

Job Description:
The Database Developer will be responsible for the design, development and support of the database application layer including data management processes that drive our business. Responsible for the overall integration architecture, development, access, extraction, transformation and loading of data into our database environments. Large volumes of internal and external data are managed on a daily basis with a growing segment of data requiring real time updates. The successful database developer will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and providing responsive operational support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Job Title: VP of Music Programming
Location: Los Angeles
Position Summary:
The Vice President of Music Programming is responsible for the overall music programming across the Napster service to drive user engagement through content, programming and promotions. In addition to overall programming strategy and editorial voice, additional areas of responsibility include label relations, evaluation and management of promotional opportunities, and publishing of data-driven, relevant content to consumers. The Vice President of Music Programming is a member of the executive management team and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Drive music programming strategy across Napster products and services - including radio, professionally programmed playlists, and promotional content features - using relevant performance metrics to drive programming and promotion strategy
- Manage relationships with music labels to enable key content initiatives in the Napster service (working with Best Buy and Business and Legal Affairs team) and secure exclusive and/or promotional content. Meet regularly with New Media, Marketing, and Promotional Label teams and participate in all label business reviews meetings.
- Manages music programming team, bringing dynamic and creative programming to all screens (web, mobile, living room) to connect more listeners than ever to the music they love
- Creates, maintains, and publishes programmed playlists, radio stations, charts, exclusive content premieres, artist interviews, spotlights, exclusive content, reviews, etc.
- Manage and evolve the overall editorial voice and personality of the Napster music services, adapting our programming to meet the ever-changing needs of the audience. Oversee Napster editorial content in music blog.
- Drive user engagement (deeper and more frequent listening sessions, user interaction, etc.) through content, programming, promotions to drive ATH, audience reach, etc.
- Manage music data feeds (charts, recommendations, etc.) to ensure highest relevance at various consumer touchpoints
- Work closely with Product, Marketing and Content agile teams to drive key features and guide in prioritization process
- Work closely with Business Affairs and Content teams to prioritize content deals with labels
- Produce and analyze key trend reports measuring engagement, consumption, content accuracy, and content discoverability across all consumer platforms
Position Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully leading music programming and/or the production and operation of a content-rich media/entertainment website

Napster is seeking a Web Analytics Developer. The Web Analytics Developer will face an exciting opportunity to define analytics and tagging strategies. The Web Analytics Developer will be the expert will work closely with the Director of Customer Analytics and various Napster teams, to successfully implement web analytics across all websites and lines of business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize implementation of Omniture and ensure consistency with industry tagging standards.
- Manage corporate governance strategy for web analytics implementation, including: maintain documentation on existing processes and variable assignments, and recommend improvements; define update schedule; user management and code management including workflow for new requirements.
- Identify gaps in data tracking strategy and implement enhancements.
- Monitor and track key performance measurement requirements that drive product and marketing strategy.
